I've graduated from Moscow University by Lomonosov, philological faculty. Being a philologist I've tried quite a lot of professions. We registered a newspaper and began doing journalism. At first it was a local newspaper, and we mostly covered local news and business. But later our newspaper turned into regional, and then we decided to register another edition for Moscow. We liked journalism and found it interesting. I wrote on different topics and subjects. Later we registered another mass medium about our Russian pop singers. With time our organization became a publishing house, although not a very big one, and we got more involved in business itself. We decided to study law, because we considered this knowledge to be helpful. But it was not an easy time for small business in Russia then, it was rather difficult to make profits to keep all the staff, competeing with big publishing houses. And in the end we gave up journalism. I worked as a lawyer for some time, consulting people. Later I was invited to become a head of a leasure center for youth. I had worked for several years there. Later I gave it up and began focusing on internet projects. I also got very much interested in stock market. So, we started up a special internet resourse on finance. I must add that the stock market did not exist in Russia during "the soviet times", and it reappeared only in 90s. So, investments (stocks, bonds, mutual funds, ETFs, options, futures) is something very unusual and unknown for most of Russian people. I'm already consulting on investments and hoping to become a finance expert.
